These new 7000 series CPUs tend to jump quickly to high speeds during Cinebench R23. At around 5.2GHz they often reach 90-95°C. When gaming, your CPU hits about 5.5GHz and stays cooler at 70°C. The setup you described works well—your motherboard, RAM, cooler, and case all match the specs.

AMD set the chip to stay near 95°C for optimal speed, though you can lower it during peak performance using top cooling solutions.

Cinabnech Multicore Benchmark runs smoothly across all cores, producing more heat. Gaming, however, affects only a few cores (varies by game) and creates less heat. AMD is increasing clock speeds when thermal and power capacity allow for peak performance; this approach is deliberate. If you aim for cooler operation, consider underclocking, though it will reduce speed.
