Just installed a Ryzen 7 CPU and am checking everything to confirm it's functioning properly. My knowledge about power usage is limited, so I'm unsure if it's drawing too much energy. Right now I'm downloading a game and browsing lightly, reaching peak speeds near 3.850GHz according to Ryzen Master. I recall 4GHz is typical for gaming, but I'm not actively using the system and it's running close to that. Occasionally it exceeds 4GHz. Ryzen Master also shows my CPU utilization at 99% of 90A with a limit of 168A—what does that mean? I've adjusted my power plan to balanced, set minimum usage to 5%, tried other options, but the EDC still indicates red. This seems to be a workaround others found, but not mine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Check your system details: are you running the Ryzen Balanced Plan or the standard Windows Balanced? Is your BIOS current? Have all Windows updates been applied?

The Ryzen Power Plan wasn't available in the power settings. The system uses the Regular Windows Balanced option. The BIOS is lagging behind the latest release. Windows is current, but I need to update it. I should probably get a USB drive from another source.

BIOS update completed. CPU performance appears unchanged compared to before, but the problem has shifted slightly. The EDC fluctuates between about 65% and 90 A, with a limit around 168 A. If it stayed within that range, it would work fine, but it jumps rapidly to 99% whenever I interact with input—like watching a YouTube video or moving the mouse. It also reaches 99% when I play audio or send any kind of signal. Could be related to user input or system signals. Any suggestions?
