Your system runs at 5i with an i5-10300h that boosts to 4.5GHz, but under load it drops to 4.19GHz. It’s normal for boost to drop below turbo when CPU usage is high. You can still get good performance by optimizing settings, using efficient games, and ensuring proper cooling. To make the most of full turbo boost, try adjusting power management, enabling performance profiles, and monitoring temperatures.

Your CPU features a single-core turbo boost reaching 4.5ghz, while the dual-core boost is currently at 4.2ghz. It seems unclear how to configure the single-core turbo boost to affect all cores simultaneously.

Only 4.19 is impressive, right? Yes, but seriously, not every core will reach its full potential. That’s the way the CPU was built to protect itself. On certain laptops, you can try forcing it higher, but that might lower performance or even cause failure. Stick with the default and enjoy getting 4.19 across all cores. Other models might drop below 3 GHz when handling heavy tasks.
