I'm checking if my setup is working smoothly. I'm using a 800 MHz RAM module over the default settings, with the CPU at 600 MHz over stock and currently sitting around 105°C. I'm planning to replace the cooler, which is an NHD15S model. I'm curious whether I've made any mistakes. Also, how can I increase performance without risking damage in the future? Here are my details:

System info:
- RAM: 800 MHz
- CPU: 600 MHz over stock, stable at 105°C
- Cooler: NHD15S (noise level 82.51 CFM)
- Motherboard: MSI PRO Z690-A
- CPU cores: 14-core
- E-cores: 5.7 GHz and 4.5 GHz
- Utilization: high, especially on P-cores
- Games: running with more stuttering than before after a lighter overclock
- Memory: OC'd to 6000 MHz
- Games: no longer smooth at higher settings

Any tips for boosting performance safely?

Well, aiming for 105°C isn't helping anything. You're pushing things too hard and it's causing problems. Adjust your settings more carefully, or address the crashes. Since you understand why it's failing, you can work on fixing it. Reaching 105°C means significant heat buildup, which is likely causing the stuttering.

You can try other actions besides turning down the OC.

adjust the values slightly lower on both sides. Test again afterward. It’s wiser to use more reliable parts rather than those that are fast but less dependable

Very little if you're aiming for smooth transitions.

Also look into units that support around 300 watts, since your setup doesn’t allow for a 360W model.

Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 – top model without the 360 RAD spec, what’s the real limit?

You're wondering if there are alternative methods to boost performance beyond BIOS overclocking.

If space is limited, a 280 might not be worth it; consider a more suitable case, even though it could be expensive.
