FX-6300 and r9 270 handle most titles at high resolution 1080p
You can enjoy 1080p or 720p at low resolutions with minimal performance, provided you have a capable GPU in a few months—like a GTX 760 R9 270X. Consider getting the i5-4670K now so you’re ready when it’s available.
It offers solid performance for gaming and should last about three more years. The built-in graphics card isn’t exceptional, so you might need to compromise on resolution or graphics quality. Your decision will depend on your priorities. However, it shouldn’t cause any bottlenecks for future GPUs.
It won’t run watch dogs or CoD modern warfare in 1080p, not even at the smallest possible quality. You’d likely be using 720p with medium to low settings to improve playability.
the hd 4600 is actually enough to see you through until you get a gpu, it's what i'm doing. there is a channel on youtube that shows games running on this igpu. borderlands 2 on medium to high @1366x768 avg 30fps titanfall medium to high @1366x768 30fps grid auto sport low@1366x768 30fps tomb raider is around 40 on low-medium if remember correctly. if your just using it while waiting on a gpu it will be fine, but it isn't a long term gpu oh and moden warfare @ 1366x768 medium-low is 30-40 fps if you really wanna see the just youtube hd 4600 gaming or type a specific game nd then hd 4600
If you have the budget for a 4670k, you can easily purchase a solid GPU.
