I'm looking to verify if two Xeon 5150 processors, paired with a GTX 970 graphics card and 8 GB of RAM, can handle playing PUBG. Just a quick check before making a purchase.

they seem capable, though i'm uncertain about the overall enjoyment. for gaming, it's better to have a few faster cores rather than many slower ones.

It's a total of four cores running at 2.66GHz, which could cause some performance problems. The clock speed seems quite slow, and overclocking might be an option.

Oh no, I assumed there were 8 cores, my mistake! It looks like my first update might be completely off.

Many have mentioned the clock speed is a bit slow, but it could still work. Additionally, having a dual socket system adds some extra points.

One x5450 can easily destroy both units on the same port. Look for a solid 775 board to boost performance and run the x5450 at 4GHz for a better feel.
