High-performance driving at full speed with a 9600KF setting
I’m receiving a 9900K at the end of the month, which makes me think about pushing this setup to its maximum while it’s still operational. I’ve placed the computer outside the garage, and my CPU core temperature stays between 2-3*F. There’s also a big radiator nearby that keeps things cool, particularly during these conditions. I plan to track my progress in overclocking here, measuring how far I can get. First attempt (best on air) should be around 0* tonight—perfect for strong overclocking! After everything is set up again, I’ll share more benchmark data.
Not too bad. Likely needs more v-core to hit over 5.6ghz. Reaching 5.8ghz and higher would be closer to 1.6v. Update your CPU revision so the validator works. Have someone with the same chip? I got 5.8ghz using a chiller. The reported v-core was 1.565v. Another suggestion: reduce core count—try half, three cores, and see if you can boost frequency. Or aim for max frequency with just one core. Good luck!
Current top performance achieved. Near the maximum I can manage at the moment.
