High-performance CPU cooler for optimal cooling solution
Hello everyone, I'm currently assembling a new PC and ran into a problem. I bought the Asus TUF Gaming plus Wi-Fi motherboard along with an H5 ultimate CPU cooler for my Ryzen 5 3600X build. When I tried to install the AM4 bracket that came with it, the screws didn't fit properly—they fell short of their holes, so they couldn't reach the bracket. I also tried using the backplate from the board and the one in the cooler box, but nothing worked. Eventually, the computer wouldn't turn on because of this issue. I could have used the Wraith cooler that came with the chip, but I think it's important to get quality parts if you're spending a lot on a PC. Please help me with this. Thanks, Luis

My understanding is uncertain about the exact proximity, but based on my experience, CryoGen installation isn’t great.
Hello, thanks for your response! I’ll revisit the computer later today and capture some photos so you can see what I’m discussing. I followed all the instructions as requested. Moving on to the store to purchase some thermal paste—I’ll let you know once I’ve updated you. Appreciate it!
Yeah, unfortunately I don't have any experience with aftermarket coolers on AMD systems. I'm using a Wraith Prism on mine. Edit: the diagrams on the photo above looks just like the H7.
