Hello! Upgrading to an i7 10700K is exciting, but it's good to check if your current i5 7400 can manage the heat from a 125W cooler. Most modern i5 coolers work well with these CPUs, so you should be fine. If you're unsure, consider testing with a lower wattage cooler first.

Stock cooler isn't suited for 10700k, though it works fine with base clocks. What kind of cooling preference do you have? Air or water cooling?

I've tried the BeQuiet! Dark Rock 4 (non-pro) in several projects. It's remarkably silent, supports high overclocks, and handles cooling well. It's also reasonably priced, which is better than a liquid cooler.

I appreciate AIOs, but I'm seeking options that are more affordable. @Abdullah Bhutta

For a budget-friendly choice, opt for air coolers. If you prefer water cooling, go with 280mm or 360mm rad. In my view, rad is better because it’s quieter and more efficient than air coolers.

I noticed you were looking for some examples.
Here are a few models you might find useful.

Choose between air coolers, AIOs, or both based on your needs and space.

10700k refers to a specific model or price point. New AMD CPUs can be available in just six days. Rumors suggest they outperform Intel options. The Ryzen 5 5600X previously matched the 10900k on single-core performance and is strong in multi-core settings. We’ll have to wait about six days to confirm.

his decision will be foolish. it’s likely he isn’t actually stupid, just the option itself
