You're experiencing frequent high RAM usage even after resetting your system. This could indicate a persistent memory leak or hardware issue. Consider checking for background processes, updating drivers, and monitoring performance over time. If the problem continues, professional diagnostics may be needed.

Task Manager > Startup Tab – Capture the image. Probably a messy system loaded with many programs and utilities. A complete Windows reset via a bootable USB drive would be a good idea. Corsair software seems to be in pretty bad shape.

The Corsair software performs exceptionally poorly, especially with memory management.

It's just 700MB, that's all the issue.

We can't assist if you don’t assist us. I’m unclear about your question, but nearly 900MB is being consumed by a corsair service, which may only be the beginning. Since I’m not using your PC directly, the best I can do is ask you to display the initial items I’d examine when diagnosing such a system—specifically, checking what’s set to start up in Windows, so... again... Task Manager > Startup Tab Share a screenshot.

I'm confirming this. The only visible elements are these features.

Consider that the updated Task Manager (Windows 8 and later) doesn't display actual OS resource usage. I recall from Windows 7 that the operating system typically consumes 3-5 Gb at any moment. The processes visible in Task Manager sit on top of that. That’s why you might see around 3 Gb just from that example. In my current setup, an iGPU uses about 512Mb while browsing tabs, and your account uses 1400Mb. So the total comes to roughly 6.6 Gb. This aligns with what I observe. Also, the system reserves RAM, which can lead to inaccurate readings in Task Manager. Unless you’re certain software is causing problems, it’s not worth digging deeper.
