Checking if anyone knows why my idle CPU temps are close to 67°C right after boot. Others report highs in the 40–50°C range, but mine feels much higher. I'm using a 360mm Corsair AIO and have some doubts about my setup. Any advice would be great!

It might be that your cooler isn’t secured correctly or you’re missing sufficient thermal paste. There could also be another component interfering with your CPU.

Check your task manager for background processes consuming excessive CPU. System tasks often take up significant processing power. @Pixelfie's suggestions on cooling solutions seem promising—consider reapplying thermal paste or swapping out the CPU module if possible.

Your current load temperatures are important; they're more significant than just idle readings. The Ryzen 5000 line often delivers higher voltage during idle, leading to temperatures above typical levels for similar CPUs. Are you using the most recent BIOS version?

What temperature are you checking? If it's high, remember that this area is very hot, so if your 20% load is spread across three cores all working together at full capacity, the temperature will rise significantly due to the intense heat in one spot.

It performs well under load. Below 70 is acceptable, but under 80 is okay as well; however, I recommend verifying the mounts and airflow if needed.

BIOS Release/Date American Megatrends Inc. 3601, 5/26/2021 – I performed a 3D Mark CPU benchmark and observed high core loads around 80°C, varying slightly by a few degrees across different tests.

It should work okay. The main worry is exceeding 80 under stress. If you have HWInfo or HWMonitor, check their readings when you run a synthetic CPU test like Cinebench. It’s not completely accurate, but it can offer a general sense of performance during heavy loads so you know what to expect.
