I've reused thermal paste several times. I'm keeping the default CPU settings. My Nzxt x73 cooler runs at 72-78°C under any benchmark or stress test. Thermal throttling hits at 4200mhz with a max temp of 91°C. Launching games causes crashes within 20 seconds; water temps stay around 35-38°C during load. Idle temps drop to 85°C with no load, though it seems random. After checking further, the AIO has a clogged radiator from replacing the MB and CPU cooler. Using a cheap AMD air cooler now brings idle temps down to 50°C.
Are you noticing a difference in temperature between the tubes? Verify that no air pockets are stuck in the pump by raising the radiator above the pump when taking out the AIO. Inspect all power connections to confirm the pump is operational.
The tube is running hotter now. I also took out the cooler entirely and stirred it while keeping the radiator above the pump to try removing air pockets. The previous cooler performed well with my CPU but not this one. I’ve installed the AM5 bracket and standoffs properly, and the AIO is placed at the top of my case.
