HWMonitor shows the data you referenced. CPU-Z indicates an i5, but it seems to be showing an i7 instead.

Yea, the current monitor isn't working well. I'm in agreement. A new version was just released a couple of days back. You might want to contact the developer to see if they have a solution?

I won't spend more time on faulty tools. I stick with HWiNFO—it's reliable.

I need to rely on cpu-z for competitive benchmarking to submit valid results. Some challenges exist with cpuz and older hardware such as socket A—cpuz 1.59 may read the chip properly, while newer versions don’t. Could be a software issue; problems will occur occasionally. Hope developers gather the necessary data to resolve these issues. If no one reports, they won’t fix them.
