Hey everyone, just installed a 12700k with the ASUS Tuf Z690-PLUS WiFi D4 and the latest BIOS. Right after turning it on, I didn’t make many changes, but noticed the core power draws between 10-13 watts when idle. Resetting the BIOS to its default settings would lower the SA power to 8-10 watts, but it still runs pretty high. I found a hardware info snapshot here: https://imgur.com/a/iV5tA2z. It seems some Skylake processors have this kind of issue. Any advice or tips? Thanks!

Check if the system agent voltage was adjusted while using XMP. Determine whether it's set to auto or manually configured.

The VCCSA was operating automatically. I adjusted it to 1.2V and the SA power output is now between 9-10w, matching the standard BIOS all-auto configuration.

Adjust to 1.075v and verify stability. The maximum safe speed is around 1.2v.

I'll give it a shot. From what I understand, the system agent power needs to be around 0.5w. I don't know why it seems so off.
