My GPU is operating at its maximum speed even when idle, which is unusual. I considered dual booting just for sentimental reasons. Now I’m contemplating wiping my backup files completely if this issue persists, but first I need to confirm I’m not making a mistake. I discovered a known issue with the RX 570 that leads it to run at full clock speed, and the solution came after support ended for Windows 7.
