Sufficient for the task? I tested at 5GHz with voltages between 1.32 and 1.35V—results varied a lot. If you're operating close to 5GHz across the entire system, ensure strong cooling; it tends to get hot.

I aimed for maximum performance, targeting 5-5.1 GHz. It's a staple for both gaming and data science work. Pair it with a Corsair cooler featuring two 120mm fans.

These readings are quite high for a 240mm AIO. I expected more stable performance. At 5GHz, my 360mm stayed within the 60s, sometimes reaching the 70s. Only 94°C was recorded during Prime 95 stress tests, which is quite intense. Your 95°C results seem tougher. Did you use a manual guide or perform an auto-OC in the BIOS?

I adjusted the manual overclock to 4.9 Vcore and configured the 1.34 LLC with turbo disabled, enabling enhanced multicore performance using AVX.

8700k still contains toothpaste. It won’t be enjoyable to keep it warm above 1.35v using any liquid.
