Preferably the system runs on Auto with GameBar managing the transitions, which usually yields optimal performance. A fresh installation can boost final speed. I noticed that after updating BIOS, Windows 11, chipset, and using GameBar for control, enabling PBO or the curve optimizer disrupts core parking and CCD switching. It seems the BIOS could have issues or there might be a problem with the AGESA code. My setup uses an Asus ROG Strix X670E-E with BIOS 2403, AGESA 1.2.0.2. I ended up using a GitHub utility called Vcache-tray from cocafe to adjust registry settings for mode switching. It’s been effective so far—just need to create game profiles ahead of time.
