I'm running Dying Light at around 100-140 fps, but it still feels a bit choppy. I've disabled VSync and gone through the usual settings, yet smoothness isn't there. It's unclear if the issue lies with me or the game itself. My hardware: an AMD RX 5600-XT GPU and an Intel Core i5-9400F at 2.9GHz.

The frame rate varies significantly, oscillating between 100 and 140 FPS and then returning.

I don't believe it's the issue since, for instance, in Escape from Tarkov I jump between 70 and 100 FPS each second, I still experience smooth gameplay even at 70 FPS.

It could be related to the game or the engine. I've encountered the same issue before.
