I accidentally resolved the problem of disabling overdrive on my monitor, and suddenly everything felt incredibly fluid, as if I were running at 60 frames per second on a 360 Hz display.
The only adjustment visible in your monitor settings is "response time." It displays Off, Normal, Fast, or Faster, and it’s currently configured to Fast.
This might be the standard name for ASUS’ overdrive feature, perhaps using the off setting.
