Hi everyone, I own a 24-inch 1080p monitor and often adjust its orientation to portrait for various tasks. However, when I launch games in this vertical mode, they frequently crash. This issue was particularly noticeable with Grand Theft Auto V, where it would freeze after the loading screen. Is there any method to enable games to run at a 1920x1080 resolution while operating in full-screen mode?

Do you possess several screens? No, just a single display; do you have any suggestion?

Employ a Steam launch code to define a personalized screen resolution:

width - Specify the horizontal size of the primary rendering area (the default value is 640).
height - Determine the vertical dimensions of the principal rendering area (the default value is 480).

Employing a Steam launch code allows you to define a personalized display resolution. Specifically, you can adjust the primary rendering window's dimensions: width—set the horizontal size (the default is 640), and height—establish the vertical size (the default is 480). I desire to experience games at a full-screen resolution of 1080x1920.

Recently, I acquired a 27-inch monitor featuring portrait orientation and began searching this forum for video games. My recent discoveries and evaluations include:

Mushihimesama
DoDonPachi Ressurection
Crimzon Clover
Ikaruga
Pinball FX3 (which requires a complimentary access code – simply request one)

Several of these titles offer the ability to adjust the game’s playable area to completely occupy the display.
