Hello, I've noticed some frame drops and stutters on the server I've been playing on for about a week now. It happens every few seconds or so, with the game briefly stuttering and dropping 10 to 25 frames before returning to normal. Outside of that, I don't see any performance problems and maintain a high FPS (144+). However, I usually cap my settings at 144 because my monitor is 2K at 144Hz.

Here are my PC specifications:
- Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix 670
- GPU: 4090
- CPU: Ryzen 7800X3D
- RAM: 32GB Corsair DDR5-6000 CL 30 at 6000MHz
- SSD: PCIe Gen 5 4TB M.2

I've looked through many optimization guides on YouTube and checked various forums for solutions, but nothing has worked consistently.

Hi there,
These issues seem limited to online games? Does the problem affect single-player too? Are all system drivers and BIOS versions current?

I checked it on a UKN PVP server and didn't see any stuttering. The main issue seems to be with Rust, which is the only problem I encountered. All updates are applied.

Open the NVidia control panel and set your FPS limit to 140hz.
You likely have a 144hz Gsync-supported monitor, but pushing too near the maximum (144) can interfere with Gsync or cause issues.
This has happened before to me...
There’s a method to cap your refresh rate at just a few frames per second (2-5fps) and also turn off VSync, both in the control panel and within games, ensuring smooth performance.
TRY IT!

Thank you, but this didn't work. Additionally, g-sync is turned off in the NVIDIA control panel as well.

It is disabled because your monitor does not support G-SYNC.

my monitors aren't G Sync compatible, I feel like G Sync restricts your frame rate, right? also every optimization guide I've seen recommends disabling VSync G Sync or turning off free sync completely unless you're seeing screen tearing.
