I am experiencing poor performance in AC Odyssey with a high-end PC and receive approximately 40-50 frames per second on ultra settings at 1080p. My configuration includes an Intel Core i9 9900K CPU with a Noctua D15S cooler, a GTX 1080 Ti GPU, 8GB Corsair 2400MHz RAM, and a Z370-P motherboard with a 600W power supply. CPU usage is consistently around 60%, GPU usage is 60-80%, memory utilization is 80%, and disk usage is monitored using MSI Afterburner. The GTX 1080 Ti performs optimally in Furmark (approximately 160 fps at 1080p). I have exhausted my troubleshooting efforts without success and require assistance in resolving this issue.

Monitoring all cores/threads is more informative than total CPU usage.

What CPU clock speed (GHz) are you using when gaming?

8GB of RAM, especially if it's slow RAM, is likely a bottleneck. Is this 2x4GB or 1x8GB?

What make and model is your PSU? I cannot recommend any good quality 600W PSUs.

CPU operating at 4.7 GHz. Memory usage at 80% causing uncertainty regarding potential bottlenecking. Power supply unit is a Corsair CX600.

Does it consistently maintain 4.7 GHz while gaming? Have you monitored it?

80% RAM usage is excessive; Windows will cache to the HDD/SSD, negatively impacting performance. 1x8GB limits operation to single-channel mode, hindering bandwidth – 2 sticks enable dual-channel for double the speed. Furthermore, 2400 MHz is a slow speed. Adding RAM isn't guaranteed and should be purchased as a kit; upgrading to a 2x8GB kit with a faster speed is recommended.

The CX600 power supply unit is of poor quality, potentially causing performance and stability issues and posing a risk to the user if it fails.

This system is unbalanced: a high-end CPU paired with inadequate RAM and PSU. The motherboard is also below expectations for powering a 9900K, but provided the CPU consistently maintains its speed under load (gaming), this isn't a concern.

Suggest upgrading RAM or maintain current CPU and GPU and purchase other components? Successful stress tests (FurMark and Prime95) indicate stable operation.
