Using my 970 and 2600k without overclocking gives me around 144 fps with medium settings. I tried the maximum settings and ended up at 60 fps—which is quite low—and didn’t really see a big difference in graphics quality. If you focus closely on screenshots, you might spot something, but in-game performance didn’t change noticeably.

This setup offers 70-90 FPS ultra performance, giving you a clear sense of what to anticipate.

I realize I should have asked for the card owners directly and also tried it out myself (remove frame limit if they don<|pad|>).

I enjoyed playing Overwatch smoothly at 1440p with 144Hz using v-sync for 144fps. The game was configured to "1440p (143*)" on a single 980Ti. Now using two 980Ts in SLI, maintaining a stable 144fps has become much simpler.
