Are you sure the majority of valley scores depend solely on the GPU? I plan to test both CPU and GPU at their default settings, then disable one of my 980s to compare performance. After that, I’ll try overclocking the CPU, running the game, applying OC to the GPU, and testing again.
I installed my GTX 970 with WinForce and achieved 2479 Extreme HD. I'm really happy.
I realized my numbers were off; my actual score came in 1789. Probably due to the recent GPU upgrade, which is only a few months old.
