Hi. Im new when it comes to gaming pc. Maby a strange question but i have seen games like redfall have high cpu utilization on a few cores, tried to launch the game with my i5 13500 just to see and almost every core was loading like 98% until i got into the main menu. I have heard this game have issues with using too much cpu/ bad optimized game. Is it safe to play unoptimized games like this or could i get a heat issue after a while? Kinda want to start playing it but i want to ask here first so i dont do anything wrong and get issues later
This occurs at the beginning of the game. It's completely normal and happens to many players, including you, when launching most games.
Your computer should be designed to manage heavy workloads over extended times. It makes sense to keep it at a steady, moderate heat rather than letting it fluctuate wildly between hot and cold. The lower the stable temperature, the longer it lasts. Still, unless it shows strong thermal throttling, worrying about overheating isn’t usually necessary.
Perhaps, but overheating during gaming usually affects performance in other areas too.
Thanks for checking it, I'm still getting the hang of this. It seems to be running smoothly with only moderate CPU activity compared to other games. The numbers aren't unusually high, though some cores are barely active while others spike to 70s or even 80s. I was a bit concerned because I'm not used to seeing much CPU usage, but it seems the system is managing loads well and staying cool.
