High CPU usage causes external drives or memory cards to disconnect.
Hello everyone! I recently installed a new PC around 6 to 8 days ago. Whenever I run demanding software like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro or After Effects, I notice a sudden "ding" and see my external drive eject itself before reappearing as if I just connected it again. This keeps happening every few seconds until the task is finished. At first, I didn’t notice much because I was too excited about the new machine. Now it’s becoming bothersome, especially when I need to check files on the drive while working on projects in AE or Photoshop. I checked Task Manager and gave Photoshop a "heavy load" test, and right away the CPU usage spiked. It might be related. Another problem I’m seeing is that my memory card behaves strangely during large file transfers from client footage. I’ve attached a video demonstrating the issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
