High CPU Temps In CSGO?
times feel typical, but when you're hitting high framerates in CS:GO it drains a lot of power across one or two cores compared to others. I used a 9700k with a U12s and kept all-core temps on stock clocks below 70°C. The case was the Phantom Enthoo itx, which offered decent airflow.
Have you assembled this setup yourself? I’m not a specialist, but if it were me, I’d replace the CPU cooler. Remove it, wipe away the old paste, install the new one, and reattach securely. If you’ve done similar work before and are confident, go ahead!
More supporters mean less RPM required to achieve a specific CFM output.
If I manage it, I'm aiming for around 4.7 to 4.8 GHz instead of pushing it higher.
