Normal temperatures allow you to push the CPU by running an all-core stress test such as Cinebench R20 and monitor temperatures.

The 8700 tends to run fairly hot, but that’s normal. These processors are often known for needing a thermal paste replacement and a clean IHS area. Your temperatures should be within the expected range. What about the cooling system? Is it working well?

Use higher RPM for exhaust to release more heat from the case. Make sure the case fan vents enough air so it doesn't block the PSU.

I also have a Coolermaster fan that isn't in the case at the moment. Should I install it as an exhaust to aid in cooling?

Run cinebench thoroughly and verify it remains stable under gaming conditions. Minor fluctuations are typical.
