Your Ryzen 7 2700X is reaching temperatures near 80°C even when idle under heavy loads. Multiple tests confirm this reading. Could there be an issue with cooling, power delivery, or software performance? Let me know if you need more help.

I'm using the included wraith stock cooler with my CPU. It seems to be set up correctly. I attempted to capture a photo, but it probably won't be very useful. The fans are running smoothly, indicating they're functioning properly.

Ensure the cooler is properly positioned and check for good contact with the IHS. If you can hold the cooler and it feels cool, the issue might be a sensor problem.

Here are the fan speeds listed. It looks like the cooler isn’t connecting well, which might affect cooling performance. Have you checked if the thermal paste was applied correctly or used the original paste provided with the cooler?

Fan speeds are near 3000 rpm. Since you applied thermal paste, consider replacing the cooler and reapplying paste.

You're certain about this? Make sure to remove the old thermal paste from the CPU and cooler.

I put the cooler back in place and everything seems okay now. It’s unclear what caused the problem, but the temperatures are down nicely. Thanks!
