High CPU temps
You're experiencing overheating issues with your Ryzen 5 3600x under high load. It seems the stock coolers aren't keeping up, causing temperatures to rise significantly. Running benchmarks confirmed the problem, and the system shut down due to excessive heat. Whether you need a new cooler depends on whether the thermal paste is still effective—if it hasn’t degraded, reapplying it might help. Otherwise, replacing the cooler would be more reliable.
Confirm the cooler is firmly attached and has sufficient thermal paste. Is the stock Ryzen model suitable for proper cooling in a non-OC 3600 setup?
I understand it's the stock cooler, but Nuctua mentions 0.5nm or about 4 inches in weight. I just tighten it with a screwdriver until it's snug and doesn't turn easily, then give it a quarter turn.
Strong ventilation flow available thanks to intake fans; GPU runs at 72°C with minimal workload.
