As long as safety settings remain active in the BIOS, the system should reduce its power to avoid overheating (though I wouldn't depend on that alone)

These temperature monitoring systems are meant to function, but no one ever claimed they’re perfect. The CPU still has a chance to fail, and we’re seeing real-world examples of what can go wrong.
