Recently I acquired a used H100i Extreme Performance and after applying pressure it reaches up to 100 degrees! Could this be related to the thermal paste I previously used on my CPU? Since I’ve ordered an Arctic MX-2, it seems likely they’re handling the heat effectively. The vibration when touching the pump suggests they’re functioning properly. Corsair Link:

You didn't use fresh thermal paste during installation since it wouldn't make much sense

The thermal paste you ordered is likely to have a noticeable effect once it arrives, as it will improve your device's performance.

Only by operating in the same manner as driving a vehicle without coolant can you achieve a significant effect

I received the cooler for £30, which made me wonder if there was an issue, but thank you for your assistance! I’ll try to avoid playing games until the paste arrives Wink
