You should clean the dust from your PC and reapply the thermal paste. If the problem persists, think about using a larger cooler, though it probably isn't necessary since the stock one keeps temperatures low.

Stock cooler and processor support up to 65°C. For the more demanding i5 and i7 models, the safe limit drops to 75°C.

Fixed it successfully after addressing a thermal throttling problem. Removed and cleaned the CPU heatsink and fan, applied fresh thermal paste. The rear case fan was drawing air in, so I flipped its direction. Previously, the CPU fan was connected to the sys fan header; I switched it to the CPU fan header. It’s unclear if this change made a difference. Current idle temperatures sit near 35°C, and peak temps are about 56°C. With CPU usage at 80% in past high-load scenarios (previously 100%), lag was reduced. Thanks to everyone for your support!
