I just tried to push my Intel core i5 4670k processor beyond its limits, and the outcome feels a bit confusing.
To start with, I only increased the clock speed to 4.2ghz, which doesn’t really reach its full overclock potential (some users are hitting stable speeds around 4.8ghz).
I adjusted the CPU core voltage to 1.05V and the ring voltage to 1.025V, but these values seem significantly lower than what the chip actually requires.
After a stress test, here’s what I’m considering: should I change the core voltage to 1.24?
I have a Cooler Master Seidon 120M CPU cooler, which is said to be quite effective, so temperatures should stay within normal limits.
Edit: I’ve noticed my CPU operates at 0.1V when idle, while my temperature stays steady just under 30 degrees. Is that typical?
Thanks!

It might have been just my work network, but I'm still not seeing any results :/
