Hi,
I understand if my grammar is not perfect, because English isn’t my first language.
I just set up my gaming PC and I’m really new to all this.
Details about the hardware:
GPU: 7900 XTX
CPU: 7800x3d
RAM: 2x 16 g.skill trident z 6000mhz 30cl
Storage: Gigabyte b650 Aorus Elite AX
CPU cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE
Display: LG 27GP850-B 1440P
When I play Overwatch 2 with settings at their maximum and FPS around 250, the game runs slow and the mouse movement feels laggy. This has been a real issue for me. I’ve tried several fixes that people suggest online.
Adjusting FPS unlocked and capping didn’t help.
Changing the monitor’s refresh rate didn’t resolve it.
Activating Adaptive Sync and using AMD Software fixed the main problem, but caused another one. Now the screen flickers wildly when I open options or the main menu. I turned it off to stop it. From what I’ve read, this is related to the fluctuating FPS/hz and dropping to 60 when I switch menus. It’s normal since the menu itself runs at 60. I’m confused and don’t want to touch anything without knowing what I’m doing, so I’m hoping someone has a solution or tips that might work. Thanks.
