Hi there!
Hi there!
I looked into the specifications and found that the Ryzen 5 3550H only supports up to 2400MHz RAM. Adding a dual kit of 16GB at 3200MHz would exceed its limits, which could cause stability issues or performance drops. It might not improve things significantly since the chip itself doesn’t support higher speeds.
Based on what I understand, anything above 2133Hz is generally seen as an overclock, which explains AMD's mention of support up to 2400mHZ. Running memory at 3200mHz should be okay. Just remember, you need to turn on XMP in the BIOS to let your memory operate at the advertised speeds, since most kits come out of the box at 2133mHz.
I don’t have an ASUS mainboard, so I’m unsure if this BIOS matches your system. Still, I’m hoping this guide helps you https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1042256
