I enjoy Fallout 4 a lot and spent around 100 hours playing it. However, with a single 390X at 4K high settings, I struggle to achieve even 40 frames per second. It runs quietly but I’m hoping for Crossfire support. Do you think it will be available? I’m uncertain since Skyrim doesn’t have dual GPU support yet, though we can try forcing it.

Bethesda will provide crossfire assistance promptly; otherwise, a mod will implement the feature.

I’d just wait for a skilled modder to drop a patch or create one myself. Bethesda usually doesn’t add features unless they really back the game, especially since they lacked proper support on earlier titles.
