I need to refresh the information in my bio from the Gigabyte B450 /rev1.0 (F2) to the F62 B450M DS3H (rev. 1.x). The support section mentions AGESA 1.0.0.3 AB CPUZ, which indicates I’m running AGESA PinnaclePI-AM4 1.0.0.4. It seems updating directly to F62 is the way to go since this is my first BIOS change. I’m a bit confused about the steps for older versions and the order of updates.
I believe it's okay to proceed with F62 unless you rely on qflash.
Since F41, F42h and F50 reference F40’s guidance, it seems reasonable to proceed with the newest release. F32 highlights better Q-Flash support, which likely explains the advice.
