Hey, urgent issue! My friend is stuck with trouble connecting when they're at my party. Is it because of IPv6?
Ok, hopefully someone else can fix this soon but my friend got a new PC about an hour ago. I don't know all the specs yet, but it's the starter pro from NZXT and the computer works fine when he is alone. However, recently for the first time, he has been playing with friends (3 of us total including him). When we try to join and play together, everything seems fine until about 2 minutes into the game. Then the connection breaks and nobody can help it even if someone else takes over as host or anything like that; we tried all sorts of things at first. Back when playing on bo3 (we were playing a modded zombie game), he couldn't join at all because his NAT setting was set to strict instead of moderate or open, and the game says "cannot join" due to NAT type. Even though we tried joining him again and the party was just unavailable, eventually with some help I got from my side, I fixed that NAT issue so now we can join each other without any failed attempts. But he still gets kicked out shortly after we start playing. We have tried different things: 1) resetting internet and router 2) disabling IPv6 (because that was the only option in control panel where it said no network access), 3) pretty sure we tried anything in command prompt, even trying to reset IPv6 unless we forgot to do it right this time, and 4) tried updating the LAN driver from the motherboard website (ASUS) but I don't think he got a driver for Windows 11 because he said that file wasn't compatible with his operating system. So now we are stuck again and he left for dinner; he will be back in about an hour so I hope someone can fix this before then if possible, thanks for any help you can give me!
