It's really tough to beat. I've tried both games, and Borderlands 2 came out stronger. It feels well balanced overall. That first boss in the original game was too tough—you needed to level up a bit to defeat it. Luckily, Borderlands 2 improved those challenges.

The only method I used to overcome Flynn was by taking my own life and exploiting a glitch that let me sit on a raised platform while the fight continued. I could then land a few shots and retreat to recover my health. That was essentially the only way I managed to beat that boss. When it comes to bosses, especially the second one, it didn’t go well for me, so pointing that out weakens my point. Even the first boss was frustrating—constantly spawning enemies, relentless explosions, irritating sounds, and then a tough turret section. The vehicle controls were terrible, enemies only appeared when close, making it hard to play as a sniper. Claptrap was irritating, and the mysterious girl who occasionally messaged me felt like a poorly designed Cortana. The only part I appreciated was the character Handsome Jack; his voice acting was excellent and his personality was well done. If the only positive aspect of the game is its villain, that’s a major issue. Probably these days, FPS games have very low expectations if you expect anything more than a rough experience.

Wow, I didn't even know about those pot shot things. But you really had to level up if you want to take him head on, which is what I did. The two brothers were awesome yo, sure it was hard a bit and I kept dying but I eventually figured it out, you had to deal with the little one first then big brother comes to the rescue, you can also ride the turret he was using against the horde afterwards. From what you posted, I think you didn't finish the game, right? Its definitely worth a try, and you'll later find out that Angel isn't a Cortana figure but she actually plays a heartbreaking role ( ) - and I'm not really into Halo, I have played Halo 1 though. And yes, Claptrap really IS annoying, he's probably the most irritating character in the game. If you finished it, then I probably mistook your comment Maybe Borderlands 2 isn't that great for you but its better than the new CODs and BFs for me. I've played a lot of shooters, each game has it's own feel. But I'm curious as to what you think are the grade A FPS games? Would you consider Quake III and IV good ones?

Purchased it during a Steam sale last year and have only recently begun using it. It's really fun to play now.

The effort turned the experience into a tedious task, adding more to my list of unfinished projects. Plus, the extra perks for pre-ordering Borderlands 2 felt more like a joke than a genuine reward.

It was a tough session until I pulled out my M50s and started the playlist, having a blast for hours on end!

The description focuses on a specific detail about Moxxy's underwear during a glitching moment in a sanctuary setting.

I'm not really thrilled about the prequel. I enjoyed Borderlands 2 a lot, but this new one isn't made by Gearbox. I think I'll buy it when it's on sale.
