The PC edition offers additional capabilities compared to the console releases, and it also appears more visually appealing due to the enhanced processing power available on a PC.

We're talking about a rockstar here. Expect plenty of bugs, terrible optimization, and a generally disappointing experience even after over a year since the console launch. Mods will eventually improve things.

I get the hate, I really do... I purchased GTAIV within two weeks of it released...and had to wait for the community to catch up fixing it.. But still.... one can hope.

they established a launch timeline, and I think you're exaggerating a bit. I’m just hoping they add Steam Workshop, which would put them back among the top three companies.

My view is that the game was really poor and not enjoyable. However, I played it on an Xbox 360, which might affect my perspective once it's available on PC.

They tend to post it later and really fine-tune it for PC, as they claim instead of dropping another hit like GTA IV.
