Ethernet cables have a maximum length without an active repeater, typically around 100 meters. Simply use a long cable, plug it into the router and your computer. For purchase, choose at least CAT5e (supporting 1 gigabit speeds). Alternatives include WiFi range extenders or using PLC to repurpose your electrical wires as Ethernet connections.
It doesn't matter if I use a Cat 6 flat cable—it won't stand out much and it should pass through the doors smoothly.
Flat cables work perfectly. Cat6 remains Cat6 no matter the design, provided it meets requirements.
