This trend with Silicon Power NVMe is clear. I’ve been using a 1TB Blue NVMe for gaming for nearly three years. That’s why I chose the 256GB version as a boot drive for our home PC. About three months in, I began receiving failure alerts. Within a week it was fully nonfunctional. These NVMe drives appear to either last a long time or fail quickly without any middle ground.

Ugh. I placed the same order again, thinking maybe it was just a coincidence. I've watched plenty of videos on Samsung SSDs breaking down, but nothing about this specific issue.

I’ve brought it back to the blue screen, which asked for my Windows login details. This suggests the SSD isn’t damaged.

It seems the app isn't allowing you to upload an image. Try checking your permissions or contact support for assistance.

Everything was set to the standard by default since it started up immediately after assembly. My boot preferences were EFI, and the BIOS mode was also EFI. I don’t know about other boot configurations.

For tracking your gameplay, downloading and playing from Steam ensures your progress is saved in the cloud. You can install games on another storage and resume from your Steam account, provided the feature is active. When offline, the service won't work.

I got the Xbox game pass and it looks like it saved it for me! Nice! It's probably been a while since I played my first game, maybe around 2008.

The new SSD placed in the same M.2_2 port? Just a quick check—port and a fresh Windows setup have everything working again! Thanks to everyone for their tips; even though it might seem like a faulty part, I gained some useful insights and I’m really thankful!
