Not only is the connection weak, but the download speeds are also slow. As a streamer, his internet is crucial, so I’m trying to assist. Close friend, I feel confident sharing my IP with him. Can I set up an old Dell server he can use to connect remotely for internet access? He’s in India while we’re in Canada and the US, which means he experiences around 300 ping. It’s frustrating—there should be a better solution, shouldn’t there?

That refers to a React hook called `useSlot`, which allows components to access slot content. It’s used to render dynamic content based on props or state.

I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do either. That’s why I’m wondering what I should be doing—my idea is there, but I have no clear plan or direction.

He must choose a more reliable local service. Working through you will only increase delays and performance problems on top of his existing issue.

The core problem lies in his starting point, the connection source. Whatever adjustments you make there won’t significantly alter the outcome; the real challenges stem from his initial link to the internet. Still, there might be solutions. Consider these points—something you’re really focusing on: where should he link to (the endpoint)? Is there a more efficient path? Imagine his situation like a city traffic jam: he’s using one route, but it’s slow. He could try a different path, such as using a VPN. Connecting to various services and testing speeds can help. Before investing, check free VPN trials to see if they improve performance, since his ISP might simply have poor routing everywhere.
