it's a typical setup for most games with this configuration. performance stays under 50% in every title, except Cyberpunk where you can hit 50fps at high settings. I ran it with low settings and got similar frames, though I remember the numbers weren't exact after reinstalling everything. The GPU isn’t causing problems, but the cooler is working fine. I bought both the board and CPU for a good price, so I went ahead. I tried reinstalling drivers, Windows, and even cleared the BIOS, but the RAM stays at 3600 and I got a black screen when I reset it manually. The score on FurMerk was around what you'd expect for a 3080. It’s puzzling without more details.

Your game is running in Full Screen; avoid Windowed Mode or Borderless settings. Regardless of the title, it uses DX11. Many videos on YouTube are built for DX12. Your CPU speed is around 4200 MHz, which is normal. Did you simply select DDR4-3600 as the RAM type, or did you also tweak the voltage and memory timings?

The Ryzen 5500 requires roughly half the power of an RTX 3080 to run smoothly at lower resolutions.

I haven't experimented with the voltages before, so I didn't break anything. I'll check it out and give it a try.

I'm sorry, I couldn't understand that sentence. Based on what you said, it seems like there might be some confusion about the specs. The 3080 is expected to perform at 80% efficiency using the R5500.

Perhaps the 1440p resolution isn't the right one, maybe it's better at 1080p. A 5900X wouldn't suffice for a 6950XT on 1440p, and a half-cache version of a 5600X wouldn't fit a 3080 on 1080p.

The issue seems to be affecting only half of the performance with the current setup. It looks like there might be a problem that needs investigation.

Many of these titles received significant graphical updates or added features to improve performance. For fair comparisons, ensure you're using identical game versions. Dual Channel can make a big difference. Additionally, applying the newest BIOS, AMD chipset drivers, and adjusting the AMD PBO offset curve will be beneficial. Honestly, I hadn't noticed the "single channel" warning until recently—it's reducing your efficiency by about 20%.
