Hey guys, hope you're doing good. My internet speed is acting weird all the time. It jumps between 85ms and 50ms randomly. I have to restart my router way too often, sometimes it works but then it gets stuck on 85ms forever. Is this a problem with my router or my server? Because when I reset my router, suddenly I connect to the other server which has a better speed (lower ping)?

What do you mean by ping? Are you actually running a real ping command or are you getting numbers from a game? Your router isn't connecting to any server because it's only connected to your internet service provider (ISP) router, not the destination. To check this properly, try pinging a common IP like 8.8.8.8 and see if that changes too. If the results stay consistent, maybe the problem is just with the game itself or something going wrong between the IPs in the path to the ISP. You can't control anything except your router and the link to your ISP to some degree.

When I send a connection request to servers in Europe, like the League of Legends EUW region, or to any other place based there, it all works fine.

So, it's okay if you do a few more tests to figure out what's wrong.

I posted this on another thread: "Run a quick test by pinging common stuff like 8.8.8.8 and check what happens."
