It won't come on, and there is a slow flickering white light on the power button.

Just do a quick search on google for "dell xps blinking power button" to find out what's happening with your computer.

I looked for answers online and couldn't get any. Did you see something useful here? Maybe I need to press the button now.

The answer is right here, but only if you actually spend some time looking for it on your own. Nobody here could help you at all because you gave them no real details about what you need.

It does not turn on and it lights up slowly in white. Bad luck is you are stuck here where moderators don't really fix things, instead just blaming people for asking questions.

Hey there, I know what you're thinking of right now! Are we talking about an XPS on the desktop, laptop, or all-in-one format? What year and spec level were you using that time? That was a Dell brand for years already. What was the last thing you did before this happened? We out here can only work with the info you give us.

It's a laptop with trouble turning it off and stopping when you try to power it on. It just shows "XPS" or says it might be from around 2018.

That gives us way more information now. It's still just a tiny bit over what we need. Let's put this in the right spot: Laptop Tech Support.
