It's not worth it IMHO since you already have a great setup. Either I will skip the new socket entirely or wait for AM4 chips to go on sale at rock-bottom prices before buying anything else.

Got this bundle here. Posted the exact same question there on Steam and many people are having trouble with the memory, claiming the timing (CL) is off. It's labeled as 36, yet I can't seem to find a better rating on Amazon.

I have a Ryzen 7 7700 non-x computer on an Asus TUF gaming B650 WiFi board. Nothing is broken. If you want to save money, they offer a Ryzen 7 7700x bundle for $370. There are many links here about buying this deal with 128GB of RAM and a good PC case. The big advantage of the 9700x over my 7700 is that it costs only sixty-five watts like my chip, so you get better performance but cooler temperatures. Jayz2cents did a video a few weeks ago showing off this bundle so check it out yourself. He says the CL36 doesn't matter much for games and even tested with an RTX 5090. If that is true, I recommend buying the bundle.

There are tons of DDR5 RAM sticks with 2 x 16GB chips that have CL30 or CL32 speeds. Choose one from the list below: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/memory...=6000,6400

The x3d chips usually don't care as much about memory sticks like the usual ones do. It's hard to tell just how much better you'll get with faster RAM on your 7900xtx.
