You're experiencing significant performance drops in BF4, especially after extended gameplay sessions. It seems the GPU usage drops to around 10% while FPS falls drastically to 3-10. The issue appears unrelated to CPU bottlenecks, as CPU usage stays consistent. A video recording captures this problem.

Watch the clip—it shows the GPU staying below the 60s range while the CPU never reaches 70.

Check if the game is running on your HDD and whether you have an SSD. It seems like a background task is using some of the game's resources.

The game is running via SSH. My system has just one main drive, which I've split into three partitions: one dedicated to games, another for the operating system, and a third for general use and work. F4 is clearly in the games partition, and the original installation folder is also there.

In your situation, the partitioning shouldn't impact performance. My understanding of SSHD functionality is quite basic, so I can't provide more detailed explanations. However, when an HDD reaches over 90%, it usually causes delays for programs relying on it.

Sure, I can help with that. Your drive is currently 53% full. Let me know if you need further assistance.

When delays begin, review the task manager to identify programs consuming the storage. Consider tasks like searching or virus scans that might be affecting performance.
