Older Assassin's Creed titles aren't compatible with Windows 10. Many fans prefer the classic versions. Black and White 2 remains unavailable on Windows 10. Some past games struggle with the newer OS, so players who enjoy older titles should be mindful. Windows 10 doesn't support games with SafeDisc or Securom DRM. Windows 7 offers broader game compatibility and slightly better performance for gaming compared to Windows 10, based on certain tests. Windows 8.1 also provides improved gaming features over Windows 7, as noted in benchmarks. Windows 7 and 8(.1) will get Vulkan support, matching DirectX 12 capabilities.

Windows 10 is really problematic—I only managed three minutes of playtime before it crashed. Almost all other titles failed to launch. There were also memory issues. If you're okay with version 7 or 8, Linux or MacOS would work better. Not so much for Windows 10.
